Digital Client Advisor Program

DealerPolicy, an Insurtech company, and Vermont HITEC, a not-for-profit education center, are accepting applications for a no-cost accelerated Insurance Associate training program leading to guaranteed full-time jobs with DealerPolicy upon successful completion. All participants completing the program will be offered full-time positions as Client Advisors, enrolled in a Registered Apprenticeship, and earn a starting annualized base salary of $31,000 plus commission. 

Performance-based wage increases brings base salary up to $35,000 through the first year. Commission is uncapped and provides on average an additional $16,000-$20,000 per year. Combined salary and commission can exceed $50,000 per year.

Recruiting  Specialist 

We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated, organized, and personable individual to head our recruitment efforts. You’ll manage the full recruitment process while working closely with the Human Resources Director and Leadership to bring in the best talent to help grow our business. You will support and drive recruitment efforts, marketing strategies and social media presence in support of building brand recognition and developing a strong candidate pipeline

General Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for requisitions including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and onboarding support.
    • Post job descriptions across targeted channels and source top talent via social networks.
    • Support the implementation, employee training, and daily maintenance of the company’s applicant tracking system.

 Skills & Experience:

Product Manager

We are seeking a Product Manager who will lead our product development  initiatives in close partnership with the Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Dealer Operations, and Customer Success teams. We are looking for someone who was strong experience in the personal lines insurance industry and has product owner experience. 

General Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Dealer Operations, Customer Success and other areas to create a Client (Dealer) Experience and Customer Experience which leads the insurance and auto retail industries.
  • Own and manage DealerPolicy’s product backlog and ensure the highest value product features are focused on by Engineering, Compliance and other implementation areas.
  • Lead Product prioritization meetings with DealerPolicy executives and department heads. Coordinate implementation plans with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Create, communicate, and maintain detailed plans for product requirements, product development plans, and program execution timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain the DealerPolicy Product Roadmap and develop other visuals to communicate the DealerPolicy Product vision and implementation plan to the Executive team, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other areas within the organization.
  • Initiate and lead partnerships with data providers and other organizations to complete integrations of data, applications, processes, and operations to create the leading digital Product in the personal lines insurance industry.
  • Manage all aspects of negotiations with business partners and other organizations, including financials, personnel and products consumed, to create relationships and deals which advance DealerPolicy’s Product and Customer Experience profitably.
  • Develop and establish new capabilities into the DealerPolicy Product platform including A/B Testing and Artificial Intelligence driven Customer Experience.
  • Work with vendors’ and carriers’ Product, Engineering, and Technology departments to implement plans and deliver products successfully to market.
  • Plan and lead execution of product go-to-market launches across sales, marketing, product, engineering, technology, and operations (insurance operations, dealer operations, and business operations).
  • Partner with Engineering and Business Intelligence to build the instrumentation, analytics, and reporting to support a world class, omni-channel sales program.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key DealerPolicy leaders and team members with a focus on dealership operations, insurance operations, marketing, underwriting, technology, and engineering.
  • Collaborate and lead without direct reporting relationships while fostering team harmony and productivity across a diverse set of skilled professionals including software analysts, engineers, IT, UX/UI designers, process and business analysis, analytics, operations, marketing, and others.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, computer science, or quantitative field including for example finance, accounting, math. MBA preferred.
  • 5 + years of relevant professional experience , 3 + years in a product manager role preferred.
  • Rich and comprehensive understanding of the personal lines insurance industry including the role, capabilities, technology, products, economics, motivations, and strategic importance of comparative raters, carrier insurance operations, MGAs, carriers' consumer acquisition operations (especially inbound contact center operations), agencies, and technology enablers in the ecosystem.

Implementation Specialist

We are seeking an Implementation Specialist who is extremely detail-oriented and has experience in the automotive space or related industries. In addition, you must possess the ability to work well in a team environment, open to travel, with proven success in process development and management. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Dealership Operations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware and solutions
  • Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans; tests and troubleshoots final system setups
  • Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • P&C Insurance License – Producer

Customer  Success Specialist 

We are looking for a Customer Success Specialist who will help to lay the groundwork for a new department in our rapidly growing company. This is an exciting new position at DealerPolicy that will be a resource for our internal insurance agents to promptly manage relations between DP and dealer personnel. The Customer Success Specialist will be a resource to remedy all incoming matters with an unparalleled degree of customer service.  The primary objective of this team should be to make our dealer clients happy. Providing immediate and real-time responses to our dealer clients will be integral in our efforts, freeing up our account executives to focus on performance management.

The Customer Success team’s work schedule will reflect that of the dealership clients they serve, therefore includes on-site work Monday through Saturday 9am – 7pm to handle inbound inquiries in real-time. Working Saturday’s is required. Ideal candidates will have experience in both automotive retail as wells as a comprehensive understanding of personal insurance lines and how to navigate and solve complex insurance related matters.  We are looking for someone who is self-motived and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our dealer clients and resolve all dealer and policy holder inquiries in real-time with unparalleled customer service and a sense of urgency.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all product related issues/suggestions from the DP field teams.
  • Triage and resolve all referral payment questions/concerns (either direct from dealer or via our Account Executives.
  • Engage with internal cross-team members in our call center, finance, product and other divisions to solve complex challenges and matters related to delighting our dealer clients and policy holders.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and agents to resolve critical issues to an acceptable conclusion.
  • Track and triage all inquiries and work with the Customer Success Manager to identify trends.
