DealerPolicy is disrupting the personal lines insurance industry.  DealerPolicy’s technology is positioned within auto dealerships, enabling dealership customers to receive insurance quotes during the car-buying process.  These customers are then connected to Winooski, DealerPolicy’s wholly owned insurance agency, to complete the insurance transaction.  DealerPolicy sells an insurance policy to more than 20% of car buying customers and is currently expanding across the northeast and nationally.

Digital Client Advisor Program

DealerPolicy, an Insurtech company, and Vermont HITEC, a not-for-profit education center, are accepting applications for a no-cost accelerated Insurance Associate training program leading to guaranteed full-time jobs with DealerPolicy upon successful completion. Up to 20 selected participants will attend an 8-week program starting October 22, 2018 with employment beginning December 26, 2018.  All participants completing the program will be offered full-time positions as Client Advisors, enrolled in a Registered Apprenticeship, and earn a starting annualized base salary of $31,000 plus commission. 

Performance-based wage increases brings base salary up to $35,000 through the first year. Commission is uncapped and provides on average an additional $16,000-$20,000 per year. Combined salary and commission can exceed $50,000 per year. This session is the fifth offered by DealerPolicy and Vermont HITEC since last year, with several 2019 sessions anticipated to support growth.

Implementation Specialist

We are seeking an Implementation Specialist who is extremely detail-oriented and has experience in the automotive space or related industries. In addition, you must possess the ability to work well in a team environment, open to travel, with proven success in process development and management. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Dealership Operations.

General Responsibilities:

• Assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware and solutions
• Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans; tests and troubleshoots final system setups
• Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Human Resources Leader

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to build out the role of Human Resources for the first time in the company’s history. We are seeking a Human Resources Leader who will be a true partner in the business and who will build and evolve all aspects of the human resources infrastructure, including strategy and all day-to-day operations. Regional Dealership Operations Manager

The Regional Manager of Dealership Operations will be responsible for managing the implementation and account executive teams for the northeast region in the US. These teams are responsible for successfully implementing, managing, consulting and ensuring long term engagement and mutual success across our network of dealer clients.

This position will report directly to the COO.

General Responsibilities:

• Become an expert on what it takes to successfully distribute insurance in a dealership (how do we create buy-in, what motivates a dealer)
   - collaborate with management ongoingly to ensure we are employing the optimal process with our dealers
   - communicate with leadership as to what is working and what is not
   - work with product and marketing to develop marketing material and case studies to be used to create customer and dealer buy-in

Salesforce Technical Lead

The Salesforce Technical Lead will own the solution roadmap, customization, integration, interfaces and administration for all of DealerPolicy’s Salesforce orgs – encompassing core insurance, sales, marketing and business development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience, excellent communication skills, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and ability to handle multiple task assignments and work independently.

General Responsibilities:

• Implement, enhance, optimize and administer Salesforce based applications and orgs using Force.com and Sales Cloud.
• Heavily leverage Process Builder, Flow, widgets, console components, approvals, and the security model for implementing customized workflows.
• Implement Inter-Components communication pattern to extend and optimize data and process integration across all Salesforce instances.
• Implement data import, export, mining and management features - leveraging APEX data loader.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, certification, or equivalent work experience and three years of programming/systems analysis experience.

Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

DealerPolicy is expanding its core product development team. Join a rapidly growing team of professionals in Colchester VT that are out to disrupt and transform the insurance sales process. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to developing DealerPolicy core products supporting dealerships and agency operations
• Engineer DealerPolicy software in C#, JS, HTML, CSS, and using React libraries
• Developing new progressive, mobile-first web applications in React
• Designing user experiences that are compelling, intuitive and easy to use
• Meticulously style professional user interfaces that work on a variety of devices and platforms
• Design, develop, test, and publish enterprise-grade software solutions
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews and pair programming
• Contribute to Development Operations and build infrastructure as code

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years professional work experience in an engineering discipline
